A magnetic stirrer bar is a laboratory device that employs a rotating magnetic field to cause a stir bar immersed in a liquid to spin very quickly, thus stirring it. The rotating field may be created either by a rotating magnet placed beneath the vessel with the liquid.
The typical magnet type will be Sintered NdFeB , AlNICO or SMCO magnets. The magnetic stirrer bar coated with PTFE for liquid application stituation.
The standard shape will be Cylindrical shape, Oval shape and The egg-shaped stirring bars are designed especially for use in round-bottom vessels as they spin unrestricted by the vessel contour. It can offer minimal contact when used in plastic containers
